A coniferous creation dense with resinous hop aromas and flavor. Miles of pine, musty pineapple, herbaceous earth, and black current. Sticky.

Clear, amber color. Medium- sized white head that quickly dissolves. Pine resin and citrus in the aroma. Strong hoppy bitterness in taste. Full, malty body.

Picked up a 16 oz single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 10-1-20 for $4.99. Canned on 9-8-20; consumed 12-8-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a dark orange with a nice white head that has some good hang time.
Nose is a big burst of grapefruit hops and a big malt base.
Taste is pure old school WCIPA. A large pale malt base provides the canvas for a boatload of Simcoe hops that provide a large grapefruit and pine flavor. Finishes with a heavy pine and rind bitterness; 9/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and very full and smooth.
Overall i really dig this DIPA...takes me back to how DIPA's used to be!

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a ruddy almost golden color with a film of a little white head that fell off immediately. Slightly speckled sliding lace. The aroma blends sweet danky onion to crisp sweet peach. Slight grassy sweetness. And then a touch of lemon rind opens it up a bit more. Light pine. The flavor starts danky sweet through the onion and then ends up blending some peach and lemon as it continues to warm. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable to sipping quality about it. Good carbonation. Gets a little bit syrupy in the feel as it warms. Still, a lingering somewhat sharp bitterness seems to coincide with the syrupy feel. Overall, well, good aroma and flavor, but the feel, just seems a bit different for a DIPA, maybe again, not sure.
