I tried this at my old college buddy's watering hole in Forest Hills, NY....Station Tavern. It poured a clear copper with white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had bitter citrus hop notes. The taste was bitter leaning with citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Some deets from the can: double dry hopped west coast style IPA, collaboration with some local pubs and eateries (T.J. Finley's, Local Burger Co., Kingsbridge Social Club, Forest Hills Station House, Bronx Alehouse, and The Astorian) - it's got the Local to Locals logo on it, too, which is a local movement to get locally-brewed beers to local independently-owned businesses... We're loco for local here on Long Island lately... lol

Medium-amber body has a light haze, but remains translucent; finger or two of ivory head on top slimmed into a filmy cap... I'm so inundated with NEIPAs these days this was like a real slap in the palate - a genuine west coast-style beer! ...Meaning, it features pine and resin instead of citrus and fruits... Medium-light weight, moderate carbonation, nice bitter shellac with woody, rustic, earthy characteristics... Very mild sweetness from dull citrus fruits lets the chewy pine take the fore, with supporting impressions of grassy, vegetal and herbal notes... 7/10/18 canning...

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau ipa glass.

Look is a dark hazy orange with a thin off white head.

Aroma is orange and pine with honey malt balancing it out.

Taste is astrigent and bitter with a light orange blossom honey sweetness.

Delicious beer.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a transparent yellow color with some carbonation seen rising at a moderate pace. Just a cap of a little white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Sliding lace. The aroma had some sweet to danky onion straight up and bold up front. Subtle hints of citrus and grassy hops accompany nicely. Super low cracker malt backbone. The flavor leads with the danky sweet onion, and seems to be more of the onion itself in this department. Slight good vegetal quality. Sticky danky sweet onion aftertaste with the same sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good. Overall, very nicely done AIPA with a lighter colored look to it. Don’t be fooled by this. Try for yourself.
