Light gold color with white cap and lacing.
Aroma of bready malt with spicy, floral hops, very European scent.
Taste on entry is all the above. Clean, dry bready malt with spicy hops serving almost an equal part in the flavor profile. Uncomplicated yet well melded flavors that last into the aftertaste where hops assert just the right amount of firm bitterness to finish clean.
Light-medium texture with balancing carbonation.
At a blind tasting I would've called this one a German. Can't honestly say I would've called Dortmunder but it has that European sense of balance and although I can't say sophistication it's darn close. Very pleasing beverage.

This one pours a mostly clear dark orange, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.
This smells bready and yeasty, with slight fruitiness, and doughy malt.
This is fairly simple, with a good level of crispness, and a very subtle hop character. I wish the malt character was a bit richer, but I could see being able to drink a lot of this.
This is light bodied, crisp and clean, with a good level of carbonation.
There aren't too many Dortmunders on the market, so this is cool to drink.

Wanted to like this more. This Lager is way to bitter to enjoy for this style. Tastes like a good homebrew but not much more. Too bitter too hoppy for a Lager. This one misses the mark.
