Pours a muddy medium brown with a large fluffy tan head that left ample lacing. Smells of blueberries, milk chocolate, light roast coffee and vanilla. Tastes of mildly tart blueberries. currants, milk chocolate, mild coffee, vanilla, lightly roasted malts and mild nuttiness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, thin mouth feel.

This was a little disappointing. I love stouts and I was curious to try this so called pastry stout with some fruit infusions. Unfortunately it just didn’t live up to its billing. No date printed on can. Pours a slightly darker purple-brown color that was not quite opaque. Just a little off-white film of head and some very scant lingering lacing. Smells of some ripe berries, milk chocolate, mild light roast coffee, caramel, vanilla, malt and some light nuttiness. Taste follows the nose, but I was surprised by how thin and watery this beer seemed. Not a lot of depth, complexity or punch. It reminded me less of a fruit-infused stout and more of a coffee-infused fruit beer. Rather thin mouthfeel, decent carbonation. Higher ABV was well hidden. Would have to try more from this brewery.
