Basic hazy IPA looks with a citrus filled nose that included grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, lime, biscuit, honeydew melon, tropical fruit and some floral notes. Tastes like orange peel, tangerine, lime, lemon, grapefruit juice, honeydew melon, apricot, tropical fruit, tea leaf and peppery spices, biscuit, piney notes and dry chalky yeast. A dry finish that has a mild level of bitterness.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence muffin top taster; no production information.
A: Pours a nearly clear, bright golden color with a two finger, foamy white head, ring and cap plus retention, but more limited lacing.
S: Aromas are pineapple, white grapefruit, and, as it warms, wet hay and a subtle soy or meatiness.
T: Semidry. Flavor pallet similar to the nose. Increasing amounts of umami. very light bitterness.
M: Light bodied with strong carbonation (based on late swirl). Drinks very smoothly and cleanly.
O: A delicious take on IPL. Mild, but simply fruity at first, more complex. Light, but flavorful. Not sure how old this can is or whether it's still made. Could make this a go to if it sticks around. The fact that dollars go to the Actors Fund only a plus.

2nd review and 2nd from brewer. Perfect cause beer. Enjoying at Players Club NYC.
a) hazed yellow body, slim head, lace.
s) more melon and pine, and citrus all around. mid road, but ample.
t) Agree taste gets more complex with more tar and tobacco notes, very pine forest and wood shop.
f) semi dry, crisp and tart.
o) Profits go to theaters. Bravo for a higher overall score.

Hazy yellow in color. Small white head. Nose is citrus, melon, pine. Taste is more complex. I'm getting tropical fruits, hops, pine, melon, and even some tobacco. Mouthfeel is medium, and finishes semi dry, crisp and tart. Not too bad, but quite pricey for a 4 pack of 16 ounce cans. Especially since the brewer is about a mile from where I live. This beer was about 5 weeks old.
