500 ml bottle, from KWM Wines & Spirits. ABV is 4.8%. Honey golden colour, large white head. Aroma of malts, grain and dust, only a hint of of honey and ginger. Fairly refreshing flavour, not too sweet, malty with a hint of honey and a slight ginger burn, moderate hops.

500ml bottle from Tesco, Enniskillen (£1.67):
An average offering from Whitewater but definitely not memorable. Nothing really stood out for me despite honey & ginger being touted on the label. Easy enough to drink but it failed to match the heights of some of the brewery's other beers, in particular their Hoppelhammer that I tried last from them & it's probably not one I'll be picking up again.

Appearance – Good dark amber colour, even towards the russet end of the scale. This beer has a small baby finger head that leaves mild lacing with good evidence of carbonation.
Smell – Good malty aroma with hints of citrus. There is also some sweetness from the honey but no notes of the ginger in the nose.
Taste – Again like the nose good malt flavours to begin with a little sour hops at the back of the tongue. This is followed by a spicy hint of ginger but this is extremely mild. The honey in the brew combines with the hops to give a burnt toffee like front while the finish is sour citrus.
Mouthfeel – Medium body with good linger and nice coating of the throat.
Overall – This one is very drinkable. It is mild and easy while still retaining good flavour. This is still available in Northern Ireland (as of September 2014) and I have contacted the brewery to enquire about its status. If it is not retired I will certainly be getting some again.

Cask conditioned
Pours with a murky, pale yellow hue, very little colouration. Forms a fairly decent full head which stays around for some time
Smell is limited, whiff of hops and honey , sweet aroma
Taste is bland, there is a faint hoppy taste in the background but it is untimately let down by the fact that there isnt enough of it. Little carbonation.
A very drinkable brew, but does nothing for the senses and inmo is a poor example of how good real ale is
