I would highly recommend this brewery although it's location isn't the greatest they have a nice selection of beers. They had one beer called apple pie and wow this beer was fantastic! The bartender Michelle was very knowledgeable, helpful, and super kind. I would definitely go there again just for her!

We always hit up something special while visiting family in Syracuse. This was our second brewery stop on the day, following the new Empire Farmstead location.
Basically your classic hole-in-the-wall. The main entrance was an old loading dock from the industrial business that preceded it. It has a certain charm.
Very small inside, basically a bar and two tables. The vibe and service was great, made it easy to relax.
The quality of brew however, was lacking, the selection was pretty weak. I had a poster and IPA and was underwhelmed.
Had a good time though!

Cool little one barrel operation, the brewmaster is on hand to discuss his brews. The bar maid is fun and very good at keeping up with the demand. And on both of my visits the selection was completely different and good.
Live DJ playing records from the late 70's and early 80's and people hanging out playing board games
Try it out !

tiny little spot off of james street in Syracuse. a really unique spot, operating on just a one barrel brew house, the space is real compact and cozy. decorated floor to ceiling with Syracuse orange sports memorabilia, looking more like a crazy fans garage than a conventional tap room. even the bar is orange. I was impressed to see so many beers on tap though, especially for the size of the system. they must have had ten pouring, and apparently their is a lot of rotation. the fellow behind the bar was real friendly and lax with the samples. we got to taste most of the beers pouring. without question the kubal coffee stout was my favorite, served on nitro with local coffee, it was of supreme quality. the Belgian styles and hoppy beers were also well executed though, just way better than the blue collar low budget vibe of the place seems to suggest the liquid will be. a pleasant surprise. fairly priced too, this is a great spot to duck in for a couple of afternoon beers. I think they have been around a little longer than the tap room has been open, so still relatively new in that regard. definitely worth checking out!
