Crooked Eye Brewery "Regimental 80 Scottish Ale"
$5/10 oz. on tap at the brewery on 26 March 2022
Notes: Listed at 4.7% ABV. Hazy deep amber/copper colored body with no head, and thus limited lacing. The aroma delivers a grainy and lightly caramelish maltiness and some yeasty fruitiness that's like apple. The flavor delivers a thin malt with a hint of caramel and spicy hops - that's a little odd... this is Scottish? It has a bitter, dry, and fruity finish with some residual fallen apple. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and crisp. As a beer on it's own it's quite enjoyable but as a Scottish ale it's just too fruity and the spicy hops are unusual.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
