Arrives a glass full of garnet colored liquid with a wee, light tan head perched atop. Retention is phenomenal, keeping a solid ring and some bubbly film for 45 minutes.
Smell is rich, malty, full of dark fruits.
Taste is malty, of course, dark fruits, brandy, a bit of grass.
Fairly full bodied, light effervescence. Warming as expected, slightly drying. Me likee.
