I've had their Damb Good, off which this is based. The student exceeds the master.
Nearly black with a wee off-white head, nothing more than a ring really.
Smell is amazing! Rich malts, cinnamon, raisins brown sugar. Sweet like candy or Southern Tier's Creme Brulee. Makes my nose very happy.
Taste is phenomenal. A dessert in a glass. Think cinnamon roll meets chewy stout. Cinnamon, roasted malts, raisins, whiskey. Nearly unbelievable balance.
Mostly full bodied without being cloying or overly sweet. Warming and smooth. This should be a Top 100 beer, period, drop the mike.
