A full-bodied Belgian style ale, intense & complex with a rich, creamy head. The nose is a fruity bouquet topped with honey & clove notes. This "devil" of a beer finishes with a spicy alcohol warmth.

The pour is golden yellow. The taste is banana, clove, along with hints of coriander & white pepper. In addition to, the 10% abv is well hidden. Overall, this was a really well made Belgian Golden Ale. Cheers! A-

A: The beer is crystal clear light golden yellow in color and has a column of bubbles rising from the center of the glass. It poured with a finger high head that is slightly off white in color that left a thin, large patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of fruity yeast and clove-like spices are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a bit stronger flavors of fruity yeast along with hints of cloves and spices.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer doesn't nearly taste as alcoholic compared to other beers in the style. It is very easy to drink.

A cloudy golden liquid with a white head and some decent lacing. Not a lot necessarily but quite sticky. Quite cloudy, some active carbonation visible.

The nose is big an fragrant with notes of banana, cloves, wheat malt and honey sweetness.

Taste follows the nose, with a spicy alcoholic sweet malt front, followed by yeasty notes of banana and cloves. Lots of white grape and pear juice. Hops are mild but firm, with a dry finish that is clean and short.

Feel is lively and crisp with a bit of weight.

Quite drinkable for the abv and very flavorful. Not a session beer, but the alcohol is so well integrated that quaffing couple of pints happens faster than it should. It catches up with you in the middle of the third. A well done brew that I'll look to keep around when I can.

Decanted from 16 oz can into a conical pint glass; no production date, but purchased at brewery.
A: Poured a slightly hazy golden color, orange tinged, with a half inch, foamy, white head. Effervescence lingers nicely after pour.
S: Light malts, banana, strong with cloves. Reminded me of baked ham at Easter.
T: Light malts, honey, but again clove notes very strong; bitter throughout with limited aftertaste
M: Light to medium bodied, nicely effervescent.
O: Very nicely constructed brew. In terms of flavor, shared a lot in common with a Weissbier or Belgian Wit.

Found a 16 oz. can of this at Half Time in Poughkeepsie and was attracted by the brand name as well as the overall label. Fortunately, the product itself turned out to be equally worth purchasing. A big surprise from Broken Bow - first higher ABV product I've had from this brewery. Plenty of taste for a Golden Ale with no alcohol burn from the rather daunting 10%. Not a beer to consume in volume but a great choice for the last beer of the night. I'd be happy to purchase it again if I come across it in my travels.

Tall can w/o canning date or other info

Pours heavily hazed, quickly clearing out medium khaki head, leaves a tiny bubble film, thin collar and delicate mini fields of lacing

Belgian yeast on the nose, with some cloves and bubble gum coming through...nice

Tasty Belgian, warming alcohol present, potent notes of coriander, more cloves, more bubble gum, Belgian yeasty/spicy goodness.

Nicely done, best brew I've had yet from BBB
