A toasty malt backbone with hints of biscuit and toffee balanced by noble German hops. Our twist on this traditional lager includes pumpkin pie spices and ends on a crisp note. Prost!

The pour is copper colored with a copious amount of carbonation. The taste is pumpkin & spices upfront, some sweet roasted malt, & hints of caramel near the finish. The only thing this beer is missing is date on the can. All in all, making a pumpkin spiced oktoberfest was a great idea. Cheers! A-

Served on tap at the Broken Bow Brewery in Tuckahoe, NY; retried, decanting from a 16 oz (473 ml) can on 11/08/2021.
A: Pours a crystal clear, copper color with a one finger, white head, rim retention, but relatively sparse lacing.
S: Very light aromas of caramel and spices. Hazier with a two to three finger, foamy eggshell white head and solid retention and lacing.
T: Semisweet. Flavors of caramel malt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I can imagine pumpkin, but I think it's just the spice association. Very, very light and very balanced bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth and drinkable.
O: An interesting take on an Oktoberfest, blending elements of a Pumpkin beer. Enjoyed it: this is a fun and festive beer.

A: The beer is hazy yellowish orange in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly settled down, leaving a thin film of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pumpkin pie spices—nutmeg and allspice seem to stand out in particular—are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts off with lots of pumpkin pie spices and finishes with hints of underlying toasted malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: If I didn't have any prior knowledge about this beer and needed to determine what style it was in, I would classify this as a Pumpkin Ale. It's essentially a maltier version of a Pumpkin Ale.
