An IPA that is bursting with flavor while remaining approachable with a lower alcohol content. This single IPA, featuring Mosaic and Amarillo hops, contains bright citrus flavors with a smooth, modestly hoppy finish.

Broken Bow Brewery "Broken Routines: Mosaic & Amarillo"
$3 / 5 oz. on tap at the brewery on 22 March 2021
Look: Hazy golden body beneath a bright white head of creamy foam. Very good head retention ad lacing.
Smell: Piney, grassy, floral, fruity.
Taste: Sweet grainy malt with notes of orange and mango. Solid bitterness. Dry finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: I don't think they got as much out of the hops on this one as they could, but it remains a decent enough IPA.

A: The beer is clear amber yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of mangos and oranges are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has fruity flavors of mangos and orange along with a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has lots of aromas and flavors of Mosaic & Amarillo hops but only has a faint amount of bitterness or crispness.
Serving type: can

Initial taste was refreshing but did not sustain itself through the remainder.

Decanted from 16 oz can into a conical pint glass; no production date, but purchased at brewery today.
A: Poured a slightly hazy golden color, orange tinged, with a full inch, foamy, white-yellow head. I had to stop and let it settle before I could continue with the pour.
S: Strong tropical fruit bouquet (mango, papaya, pineapple) with a pinch of pepper.
T: Tropical fruits nicely balance with light hoppy bitterness; left a little tingling on the tongue.
M: Light to medium bodied, playfully effervescent.
O: Really impressive flavor. A sumptuous example of the American IPA style. Will definitely serve, drink, gift.
