This super sour ale was spontaneously fermented with only Pale Malt and flavors from the local air. The base aged for over two years before being combined with fruit. Raspberries and Key Lime add a sweet and tangy edge to this tart ale.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a one finger head that slowly fades to a collar; squiggly lacing
Smell: Raspberry and key lime tones with plenty of supporting funk; hints of oak barrel
Taste: Sour raspberry with even more sour key lime entering; oak and funk join through the middle; after the swallow, the sourness continues to build into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbation; tingles with sourness
Overall: This one reminds me of the days when sours were bracing; not quite to the Upland standard for that but really quite sour
