I tried a pint of this beer off the tapper at a the Alb Hotel in Shrewsbury near the train station. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle citrus bitterness through the drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body but with good carbonation. Overall it was a good beer.

Canned in a crafty craft can and purchased from Mark’s and Spencer’s
Pours a fairly clear lemon jello body with good white head
Sweet grapefruit aroma
The flavour has that but so muted

L- Pale yellow, clear, pours with 1Cm white heard that recedes slowly to lacing.
S- Highly perfumed, somewhere between lychee and manadarin orange. I have an image in my head of how this is going to taste...
T- OMG, correct, to me it's a hop-bomb. Very bitter hops and a touch of 'perfumed aroma' and that's all I'm going to get from this.
F- Very dry, although not quite as witheringly dry as some of these hipster beers can be. The notable fruity edge means I'm sure I'll be able to finish this one [vs previous ultra-hopped hipster beer]. Also being 5.4% ABV seems to give enough 'middle of richness' such that it part balances the heavy hopping.
O- For hipsters and hop-heads, and not for those what favour subtlety.

From a 330ml bottle.
L: Light haze. Pale yellow colour. Despite a rigorous pour the thin head reduces quickly to a spotty cap. No lacing.
S: Explosion of floral & tropical. Not over-ripe but very fragrant.
T: Fruity. Juicy. Just a hint of a sharp edge. Bitterness is dialed down.
F: Light body with some carbonation. Finish is semi-dry and short-lived.
O: Easy-drinking APA that starts strong but loses interest. Highly fragrant but ultimately lacks complexity and finishes thin.

Refreshing pale gold in colour.
Smells fresh, hoppy.
Tastes crisp, refreshing, hoppier than the Reliance. But still lacking that... je ne sais quoi.
More drinkable and inoffensive beer from Brixton.
