On cask at the Belfast Beer Festival, 2017.
Jet with taupe ring. 4
Ash, plum, and tar. 4
Treacle, then coffee, dark chocolate, rum and spice with a touch of berry. 4
Dry finish.
Medium, chewy, round. 4
Muscavado, black pepper, Bramling Cross
Proper mocha stout, with a good nose. Bramling Cross and pepper are both detectable, but not like I’d like them to be. Less than the sum of its parts. 3.75
