This was a solid smoky porter, with the bitterness of the beer probably amplified by the smoke flavor. It's unusual, and not your typical chocolaty porter, but if you like smoky beers, you'll probably like this one. They call it an Imperial Porter, but at only 6.7%, it's not that high. Not many places make smoked porters and it was good to try this one.
