L - Amazing look, pitch black with a big beige head
S - Too much on the ginger. Smells like Christmas
T - The ginger works better on the taste and makes a good combination with the dark chocolate, cocoa powder and roasted malt. It brings a nice spiceness
M - nice mouthfeel
O - A good beer but I really had hard time smelling this

Tan head with lace and retention. Black in color.
Roasted and rich. Dark chocolate and cocoa. Molasses and coffee roast. The ginger shows and adds a unique flavor. A tad too high carbonation. Fairly full bodied.
Decent, but nothing I am too excited about.

Pours completely black with a big thick tan head that slowly decreases to a film across the top of the beer for the remainder. Nose is mild coffee and roasted barley...good, but does not jump out. Taste is rich and full bodied. This beer does not lean strongly towards a particular profile, but walks the line between roasty, coffee, and chocolate notes without being particularly strong in any one. Overall,a well made, well balanced imperial stout.
