Look
• Pours pitch black
• Little to no head at pour
• Minimal head retention
• Light tan head
Smell
• Dark dried fruit; figs, raisins, cherries
• Little bourbon
Taste
• Dark dried fruits
• Very little bourbon
Feel
• Low carbonation
• Light body
Overall
• Had high expectations for this as I am a big fan of Ironfire Last Rites. For a triple chocolate stout, the chocolate was completely missing. Decent BBA stout, poor example of a triple chocolate BBA stout. Needs more body. 1/8 down the hatch, balance down the drain. Glad it was only $15.99.
Tasting Notes
• Poured into a Spiegelau stemmed pilsner glass
• Pour temperature was approximately 45°F
• As it warmed and opened up, the dried fruits and bourbon were barely discernible

thin, easy to drink. very boozy. lots of chocolate; lots of bourbon. beautiful, deep, dark mahogany color. very little head, but a nice carbonation under-lying.... not spectacular, very good!
