Three miles from the summit of Pikes Peak on the Barr Trail, you’ll find the A-Frame shelter. This beer is like that, kick back, relax, enjoy the view & sip some hints of caramel plus biscuit maltiness before hitting something harder.

Dark amber body, clear; thin khaki colored head; thin sheets of foam curtain the glass. Malty, grainy nose. Toasted and roasted grain flavor; mild spiciness; buckwheat and rye; light bitterness; nutty. Medium body; sharp and prickly on the palate; light dryness.
A very nice, balanced amber ale, clean and tasty.
Pouring temperature: 44.1 °F
