This is the perfect beer to keep you warm on these chilly nights! We added rye & honey malt to this red ale, then threw in just enough chipotle peppers to create a balance of sweet, smoke & spice that will have you ready for the next pint.

Clear, red copper-colored body; modest amount of slow-rising carbonation; thin, patchy head; small bit of foam rings and patches inside the glass. Little aroma; a touch of malt sweetness and vegetal chili pepper character. Light taste of malt sweetness with a stronger chili pepper punch. Medium body; smooth and slick; excellent chili pepper heat.
A nice enough beer for a chili beer, but lacks much depth and complexity to bring it to a higher level. As the beer warms, there is not much growth in how the beer presents itself.
