An American Robust Porter with a plethora of roasty malts. Starts with assertive dark roast which dissipates into medium sweet caramel with a robust yet smooth finish.

Pours a dark, clear brown, appears opaque in glass; one-finger thick head, khaki colored, dense and creamy. Light scent of roasted grain and mocha. Excellent taste; mild elements of cocoa and dark chocolate; delicate grain char; great light to medium intensity bitterness at the finish. Medium body; smooth and lightly oily; dense residual sugar feel; finishes with a delicate soft smoothness.
This fine little robust porter that ultimately is slightly better than the sum of its parts. The taste and mouthfeel seal the deal.
