A great stout by Iron John's. Overall the stout is really good - very flavorful, great small, marvelous dark appearance and smooth taste. A very good stout offering.

Pours a cola-like deep brown color with a tight, mocha head that leaves a rings of lacing.
Smells of deep roasted notes with some pretty big chocolate.
Tastes of the deep roasted notes with a touch of wood. Roasted malts lead off with chocolate and espresso notes. A bit of a sharp note comes through and adds an bit of a fruity character. Some oak notes come through on the end and round out the end of the profile.
Mouthfeel is medium with a smooth amount of carbonation.
Overall, this is solid. The sharp note feels out of place, but the underlying stout itself is nice.
