Bottle: Poured a clear amber color bock with a nice large foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with light dry cereal notes also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by dry cereal notes with light dry caramel malt notes. Body is light with good carbonation. A bit short on complexity but no brewing flaws of any kind.

Malty bread flavor but has a sourish edge to it. Gets better as it warms though.

A:
Pours a cloudy, slightly reddish brown ('dünkelweiss brown' if it was a crayon) with three fingers of airy tan head that settles to a decent medium cap. Good retention; little swoops of lacing. (4)
S:
Bready and rich. Oatmeal with cinnamon and brown sugar, grain, clove, bready yeast aromas, molasses, licorice. (3.75)
T:
Flat and grainy. Brown bread, tea-like astringency, hard water, toasted wheat, oats, molasses. (3.5)
M:
Rich and coating with a medium body and soft feel. Drinkable, slight aftertaste. (3.5)
O:
Tasty Bock.
I haven't had much by these guys, but no matter what it seems like pretty solidly-made beer. This is no different, nice looking, nice smelling.
The taste and the nose seem to compliment one another, but the taste isn't as 'full' as the nose to me. Feels nice and drinks good as well.
This is not an insane, complex beer or anything, but it is made close-ish to style as far as I know, is alright tasting and I didn't hate it. Hahaha.
Would have again; worth a try if you are still curious. (3.5)
