It was refreshing and easier drinking! Good light beer for maybe a craft beer beginner. Overall it is a good cream ale! Paired great with a grilled chicken salad.

Pours a hazy golden with a thick creamy head, exactly as a cream ale should look. Smells very malty and wheaty, no real presence of hops or other flavorings. Lots of lacing here, head sticks around for a good while. Tastes as a cream ale should; light in body, grainy in taste, clean in finish. Feels as a cream ale should, crisp finish with slight malty notes after the swallow. Overall, another excellent brew from Iron Spike. Glad to have sampled, and would recommend as one of their higher class brews.

L- Hazy gold color. Exactly what it should look like.
S- Fine. Nothing special. Yeasty.
T- Dang near perfect cream ale. All light beers should taste like this. Light, bit of citrus, yeast and bread mostly.
F- Lingers in your mouth a bit after you swallow, and that is a very good thing. Very smooth. Leaves you wanting more.
O- Very drinkable. Balanced well. Perfect example of the style. Well done. Hurt by the smell though.

Pours a hazy, very light orange with a thin white head. A nice amount of carbonation. Smells of lemon, straw and yeast/bread. A wonderful ready taste in this cream ale. This taste leaves me wanting more. There is a slight citrus/ lemon hint. I could drink many of these. One of the best cream ales I've had.
