Pours a darker amber with absolutely no head. No lacing (obviously). Smells of a mild rice and malt mix, tastes almost the same. Had to get a very big mouthful to taste the flavor the beer has to offer, which is just an amped up version of your standard AALs, like Bud or Miller. Finishes clean and crisp with a little sticky mouthfeel. Doesn't linger on the palate because there honestly isn't much flavor to keep. Maybe it just isn't my style, but this was one of the more disappointing brews from Iron Spike. You could probably do better with another style from them.
