I tried a 0.33L bottle of this beer at the Sheraton lobby bar in Zagreb, Croatia. It poured a very slightly hazy golden with initial fizzy white head that eventually dissipated and did not leave any lace. The scent had grain and malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced an easy to drink with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

From Hipercor. In Teku glass. After dinner. One month after bbf. Grassy, with light citrusy notes, strong bitterness and some cardboard. Not bad but in long run it becomes bit tiresome

500ml bottle from Mediterraneo Bar, Rovinj, Croatia (35 kuna):
This one was a very nice & highly enjoyable Croatian lager that was easily one of the beer of the style that I managed to try whilst in the country. The beer was smooth, fresh & easy to drink with a nice balance despite it not being the most varied or complex tasting beer that I had in Croatia; a good beer & one well worth trying.

Grassy and floral hop notes are a bit too prominent here, though they do help curb the sweetness of the honey malt at the beer's core. Still, it comes off too sweet, toying with a raw wort-like sugariness. Alcohol is well hidden and there is no yeast presence nor are there any off notes.

Headless appearance with a translucent golden body and no visible yeast. Nicely executed.

Carbonation is crisp without being biting. Refreshing, absolutely, and aptly smooth and wet. Clean and approachable.

Its imbalanced sweetness/bitterness holds it back from being an effective summer Brew, but it's nevertheless a pleasant and enjoyable offering in its market category - though it doesn't blow the Croatian macrobrews out of the water like I expected. Worth trying even at Dubrovnik prices, but not a world class offering in its style.

Cost was 36 kuna per .5 litres at Buzz Bar in Dubrovnik.

A - Dark golden color, excellent big white foam, low carbonation.
S - Hops, sazz or something, with chestnut aroma in the back.
T/M - Very usual lager Pilsener type of beer. Lots of malt, pale, some citrus notes. Medium bitterness and carbonation.

O - Must admit that i expected more aromatic pale beer, since that dark and amber San Servolo beers are far much better.

Hazy yellow, medium lasting white head. Medium to full body, adstringent and sticky. Fruits, citrus, apples and grass, low carbonation and malts ind aftertaste. Hops and yeast slightly felt due to refermentation. Balanced and refreshing.
