Poured from a bottle at fridge temp. Pours a very very dark brown with virtually no head (on an aggressive pour). Looks powerful! The nose is madness. Very intense! Immediately getting very strong notes of molasses, toffee, and dark fruit. Definitely some wood coming through. I'm also getting a slight smoky note as time goes by. Wow.
The taste is super intense like the nose. I'm picking up brandy, toffee, slight peat smoke, brown sugar, prunes, and booze. This is so freaking smooth for the ABV. There is definitely a nice warming burn as it goes down, but it doesn't come across as hot. I think this is barrel aged, but I wish I knew in what. Could be bourbon and/or brandy. Just a lovely and intense beer. Rich AF.

I couldn't coax much of a head out of this one, the body is a murky brown and really sticks to the side of the glass. This is sweet overall and really damn tasty. My initial impression is chocolate covered figs soaked in Brandy. There is plenty more here though, I get candied nuts, marshmallow, molasses, and a bit of a vinous note. The booze is not shy, this is a bruiser but it absolutely works. The carbonation is light while the body is beefy and very sticky. Damn Tim thanks, this is one is a beast!
