Creamy and lacy, ivory head. Dark caramel brown, with a tiny auburn tint, for the look. Subtle, medium toasted malt and grain aroma. Slightly sharp woody note, along with medium toasted malt, for the flavor. The shade of brown mentioned in the beer style listing, refers to sea otter conservation efforts that some of the proceeds form the sale of this particular beer goes to, to help re-populate the Oregon coast with sea otters.
