Sampled at the Brewpub in Tokyo, Japan.
This porter poured a dark brown (almost opaque) color with creamy, tan foam. The smell was full of rich dark (bitter) chocolate and coffee aromas. The taste was dominated by rich, thick chocolate flavor with caramel, roasted malt, and coffee overtones. The mouthfeel was creamy and smooth and relatively clean with a nice, lingering, mildly bitter chocolate flavor. The body was medium-full with low carbonation feel. This was a very nice porter, and it was the only beer that I had two pints of during my visit.
