Sampled on tap at the brewpub in Tokyo, Japan.
This ale poured a clear, golden-straw color, with creamy, thick, white foam that clung to the glass a bit. The smell was surprisingly minimal, though there was a mild, faint malt aroma with a hint of honey as the beer warmed. The taste was a sweet, honey flavor with some malt, a bit of grapefruit, and a hint of hops. A very pleasant and unusual honey flavored beer. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy with medium body and carbonation feel. The honey taste is throughout and lingers after. This was a pleasant and drinkable ale.
