The Highland Hefeweizen is a medium-bodied wheat beer practically exploding with white wheat, pilsner and NYS Pale malt character. One of a kind flavors run from malty to spicy, with a smooth mouthfeel and distinctive, Bavarian style taste topped with a creamy white head. Lightly hopped with Hallertauer and fermented to perfection with a Safbrew Wheat specialty yeast, this brew is perfect for warm spring and summer days.

L - Murky pail orange with a signature long lasting, fluffy white head and patchy lace.
S - I love the banana and clove of a German Hefeweizen, but three of the six people I was with don't. This was a revelation for me, as I thought everyone wanted these aromas in this style. That said, this beer has no banana, and only modest clove. Otherwise this is what I had expected.
T - Welllllll ok, this tastes fine, but I seek out wow. My friends all enjoyed it more than I did.
F - Medium to full body, no alcohol presence, well carbonated, a bit of a slick texture.
O - This is a good beer for laughing it up with friends after work. This is a style that truly does seem to be better on a hot summer day, and this beer would likely fair better out on the patio in the warmth.
