Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a slightly hazed, amber coloring, with a fluffy, filmy, white head. Nose of caramel sweet, roasted notes, and sugary candy. Flavors are hoppy forward, with a caramel sweet follow. Very resinous and pine forward, but well balanced. Smooth, mid-bodied, with a peppery, bitter hopped aftertaste. The finish is slightly dry, slick, with a boozy linger. Solid brew.

Had on tap. Feel like this is a typical Twin Leaf beer. Decent hoppiness up front, but not too strong to completely steal the show, a sweeter malty backbone, and plenty of earthy spices, especially pepper in the finish, and of course a hint of booze. The taste was more vibrant than the smell, but otherwise the same elements. Solid dipa
