Poured from a 22 oz. bottle. First, there's too much carbonation. Foams up and still doesn't mellow much, the bubbles overwhelm the taste in my opinion. What I could taste was some chocolate and a little chili.

Super solid Mexican stout. More chile than most and I like the balance. Good brew...cheers!

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a black coloring, with ruby highlights, and a thin halo of off-white head. Nose of bittersweet chocolate, and a subtle pepper heat. Flavors are cocoa, subtle chile, and earthy tones all blending together nicely. The body is light and dry, with a blend of bittersweet chocolate and pepper. Slow building warmth as you drink. The finish is light and dry. A little more beef on the palate and the body, and this would be a killer beer.
