Appearance: A dark ruddy brown body, light beige head and with a crisp clarity to it. As Ms. Amy Feltz said, "you can see through it plain as day. Now that's a beer, dear Gerrit, you can trust!"

Smell: Twin Leaf's Bear is a gentle creature, a bit sweetish and smelling predominately malty, with your usual notes ranging form chocolate to crisped bread crust. A little fruitiness, a thin sliver of dull herb.

Taste: A blending of malty tastes, from chocolate to caramel to toasted bread and nuts. Medium level of sweetness. Lightly fruity. A minute herbal hop character with no too terribly much in the way of bitterness. However, the beer (Bear) does manage to close out fairly drying.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Not bad! Trustworthy.
