3.53/5: The base milk stout keeps the spice character in check; nice usage of cinnamon here

On tap at the brewery.
Nice solid black stout appearance with a frothy cap of head. Spicy aroma, cinnamon and allspice. Sweet snickerdoodle taste, lots of spice--nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, ginger--with a strong dark malt body. Prickly spice mouthfeel, almost like chewing Big Red. Not quite full bodied, but with everything that was going on, the mouthfeel was nice. I really liked this one.
