We add 3 pounds of rosemary to the boil and a generous amount of Simcoe and Chinook hops to provide resinous and piney notes. We also added a good helping of Amarillo, Citra, and Sorachi Ace hops to provide some citrus and lemony bite to balance out the pine notes. Our annually released Rosemary IPA is the perfect pairing for your holiday dinner table.

Picked up a 500 ml 2022 edition bottle from the Twin Leaf South Slope location 3-8-23 for $16.00. Consumed 3-5-24.
Beer poured a clear deep golden orange with an okay white head.
Nose is awesome as it is rosemary forward with a nice dose of citrus and tropical hops playing a secondary albeit prominent role.
Taste is a lighter pale malt base in which the rosemary adjunct is allowed a blank canvas and works in tandem with grapefruit, orange, and mango flavors from the hops used. Finishes with a nice rind and pine bitterness that marries up with the rosemary spiciness; 7/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and both refreshing and smooth.
Overall i really dig this brew. I will need to seek out a growler for the Thanksgiving holiday!

Rosemary- it's not just for lamb roasts anymore. The brewers at Twin Leaf have found a place right at home for the sprucy herb in their IPA as they bridge the gap between beverage and the dinner table.
Pouring a pale golden chrome appearance, Rosemary IPA builds a creamy blanket of froth before allowing the strong scent of rosemary, pine, citrus and herb to roll off of its rim. As the first sip ensues, a delicate biscuit sweetness decorated with honeysuckle, granola and cashew follows closely behind.
The generous use of rosemary is evident though as the middle palate springs to life with a nearly meaty approach to the rosemary herb. Sprucy, piney and perfumy to taste as much as in scent, the character of fresh-cut wintergreen trees come to mind. Underneath the strong herb accents lie a fruitiness of grapefruit and lemon in a blamy verbena, sassafras and lemongrass brightness. Trending moderately bitter, the character of grassy herbs, piney hops and peppery resins step in late with a lemon pepper bite.
Medium bodied and finishing off-dry, pleasantly creamy and with a medium sweet palate, the IPA finishes just as sprucy as it starts, trailing into a medium long aftertaste of... you guessed it!... rosemary. This beer is just begging for that lamb roast pairing.
