Not sure why the previous reviews are so negative. This is a heavier malt profile than you might expect from a Pale Ale, but it's. A good beer. Perhaps unexpected. But a good beer - definitely worth a try. Hop profile is subdued.

Loads of malts that are sickly sweet with no hop character whatsoever. Nothing redeeming about this beer. I drank an ounce or two, at best and had to bail.

Pours a murky brown color with a slight off white head. The aroma is hoppy and a bit gassy, with some grains in there as well. The taste has a lot of hop character but kind of tastes spoiled, there is a strange tartness in the back end and I know that is not intended. Plenty of harsh bitterness, spoiled vegetable, and pine. Light bodied, well carbonated ale. Overall, this one needs a lot of cleaning up.

Quite liked this pale ale it was the best beer I had last night. Very easy going pale ale with no assertive hop bitterness or hard water flavor. Pale malts easy to drink. I have their brown ale which I will review shortly but I like this brewery so far.

Packsaddle Pale Ale.

Amber pale with a humble layer of white head. Looks okay.

Worty grains with a light toast and a very thin hop aroma with a single note of 'flowery'. Maybe a touch of medicinal powdery notes. Not doing a whole lot for me, right now.

Tastes like grain mash fermented to dryness and tossed in a thin minty hop. All grain malts with toast and whole grain chewiness, but lacking heartiness. Finishes with some bitterness. That's all, folks.

Okay mouthfeel. Carbonation is a little bit gripping, but it works. Maybe a tad thin-bodied. Easy to consume.

Dive bomb of a pale ale. Lacks flavor, character, most things.
