This classic IPA features malts that give it a toasted, malty flavor with a golden color and touch of sweetness. The Amarillo, Chinook and Centennial hops shine through providing a heavy citrus flavor and aroma with tropical fruit, floral and piney notes.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Despite a gentle pour, this beer came out fast, resulting in a golden/orange color and a 2 inch head. Smell is very mild, some herbal notes, hints of malts. Taste is of resin, herbal. light malts, moderate bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.

Really nice IPA. Very balanced hop profile - it's and IPA but won't kick your teeth out. Nice aroma and mouth feel is smooth without too much bitterness.

Appearance as an unfiltered, muddy amber brew with a nougat head that is slim, but sticks around. Candy (jelly beans) hops in the nose with a sticky, floral aroma. Hop bitterness is pronounced in the taste, with a lingering creaminess that dries up slowly. Caramel malts come through, but as is typical to style, they're outweighed by hop resins. A decent IPA, and a surprising gift from a coworker who visited the area on a hunting trip.
