This Lager is made with locally sourced grain including Bloody Butcher Corn and Carolina Rye. The combination of the dry rye flavor and the sweet corn makes for an interesting, sit back and relax, experience.

on tap at the Casual Pint in Charlotte, served in a shaker pint glass
The beer pours a light amber (almost straw) color with about a fingers worth of whiteish head that recedes slowly leaving a small cap behind.
The aroma is interesting, spicy from the Rye, but creamy and sweet from the corn. very clean and inviting.
The flavor is similar to the aroma, nice spiciness from the Rye with a sweetness and creaminess from the corn. Very clean with no lingering aftertaste. Medium bodied with a silky mouthfeel.
Overall this is a nice beer, easy to drink but interesting enough to not get boring. I really enjoyed the beer and will be on the lookout for it.
