Wasn't entirely sure what glassware to use, I was told there's "Brett" involved but BA says this is an APA, so I ended up pouring into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-cloudy burnt yellow/orange color. Small white foamy head slid off fairly nice. Not much lace.
The aroma had some melon/cantaloupe then soft 'Brett' - not so much sour but more or less just an ample sort of tart wavering character with some lemon and mango rounding it out with some grassy hops.
The flavor, again, mimics the aroma fairly well by dealing out the tart to sweet then underscored by sour. Touch of woody sweetness with some bitter grassy edges. Super quick aftertaste of Bretty tartness, soft again with some mineral water.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but slightly sitting a touch under and having a fine sessionability about it. The 'Brett' is soft enough to not be in the way of being able to slam this beer if I wanted to. ABV seemed valid. Bittersweet and dry to crisp hop leafy and grassy finish.
Overall, the more I think about this one, the more I believe this is probably more geared towards a Belgian pale ale. Just my two cents. I'd have again.

Really well integrated hop character and Brett. Smell is brett forward. A bit of melon from the hops and some bitterness on the finish. Semi-dry and funky.

Pineapple, minerals and mango. Brett. Creamy mouthfeel but with lots of carb. Pretty bitter and bone dry. Shorter finish, saison like. For my tastes this is ok but the brett takes away from the flavors on this instead of enhancing them.
