A pint can with no visible date purchased at the brewery on 05/20/17 poured in a Transient Teku style glass. I believe this was released around 10 days ago.
Look- Pours a turbid brownish-orange leaving two fingers of creamy foam that appears to have a slight pale yellow tint. Moderate lacing is left as it settles.
Smell- Pineapple-orange juice along with some passion fruit, mango and fresh rubber.
Taste- Pineapple, orange/grapefruit juice up front, followed by passion fruit, mango, stone fruit and all things juicy and tropical. Some floral/weed and fresh rubber in the finish.
Feel- Slick and creamy with a slightly acidic tingle to the tongue.
Overall- Another top notch tropical juicy DIPA that drinks on the smoother and lighter side of the listed 7.5% abv. I'll rate this with the best NE style IPA's from Transient except for the somewhat muddy brownish color that's not very eye pleasing, but that's just the photographer in me speaking. This is a must try for fans of the brewery and style.
