From Beer Drop, no canning date that I can find.
Pours black with a small head of tan foam. Lacing is better than retention.
Smell is chocolate, yeah fudge, vanilla, mild lactose.
The taste is chocolate sweet, fudge with vanilla, roasted malt, some kind of pitted fruit. Alcohol is there but it is not intrusive.
High end of medium bodied if not outright full bodied, I would drink this again.

First milk stout I’ve had from Transient. It’s not as good as their imperial stouts in my opinion, but still tasty. If you want a milk stout give it a try.

Poured stout black with a dark brown two inch head. For a three year old stout, it looks really good.
The taste is, well, reminiscent of fudge. The can made no mention of any other adjuncts other than the cream (Imperial Cream Stout) but something in there makes it taste sweet and chocolaty.
The feel is smooth and viscous, fits the flavor nicely.
OA, maybe it’s even sweeter when fresh, or maybe it’s harsher, I’ll amend my review if I find out.

Pours a dark brown color with virtually no head. Aroma of caramel, vanilla and brown sugar. Taste is black coffee and sweet vanilla. Thick and smooth. Not overly alcoholic tasting.

Pours a thick dark brown/black and has a big two finger head of brown foam.
Straight milk chocolate aroma right away with additional notes of roasted malt, and cream/milk.
Hmm, while wonderful in aroma, this brew loses me in taste. The milk chocolate and creamy sweet character is there in flavor as well as it was in aroma, but wow it's just cloyingly sweet.
Full-bodied, medium-high carbonation, syrupy, thick, cloyingly sweet.
Overall, while certainly not a drain pour of a beer, I just am not a fan of the ultra sweet dessert brews, however this beer smells fantastic!

Dark black brew comes with a very large dark brown head. Retention is good as well.
Very roasty nose: coffee and dark chocolate tones, dark fruit, red grapes, char, brown sugar, molasses, and licorice.
Flavor follows, with a ton of roasty tones in a big ABV format. Plenty of dark and slightly sour fruit, burnt coffee, bitter chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, and char. I don't get "fudge" in particular.
Really impressively smooth brew on the palate. It tastes big, but it doesn't "feel" big from a heat or alcohol.
A very solid and enjoyable stout, but as another reviewer mentioned, very much like an imperial Guinness.
