Intricate simplicity huh? I like a nice simple sour with some barrel thrown in there, this should be fun
Pours a cloudy gold with less than a finger of bubbly white head, bubbles surrounding the perimeter of my glass
The aroma is very bright, big notes of white wine and vinegar, mild funky leather, citrus and wheat to round it out. Just a hint of red berries as it warms
The taste follows, with a nice lemony tartness coming out and competing with the brett complexity. Some nice smooth oak contributes to the funk without overpowering it, really tasty
This drinks really light and smooth, mild carbonation leads to a crisp, dry finish with hints of funk and subtle sweetness
Ok well this one was really good, another clearance shelf find, this time a 500mL for $4. Not sure what this beer goes for, but $4 works for me!

Pale saturated gold, ample foam, bottle nearly gushed on opening.
No skim or lace, ample visible carb trails.
Aroma of softly sweet oak, acidic white grape, mild Brett funk.
Juicy tart white grape, chardonnay oakiness, clean dry finish.
Medium bodied and effervescent, crisp acidity and finely textured.
Really nice overall, more nuanced and less sharply acidic than some other wild ales from Transient.

Perfectly named beer. On the surface it is an easy drinking and simple oak soured wheat saison, but once you submerge into the depths of the flavor, you begin to appreciate all this beer has to offer. Smell is laced with oak, grape, wine, apple, slight barnyard funk, pear and brett, with a slight wheaty quality on the finish. Taste takes all of that, especially the vinous and oak elements, and magnifies the flavor, also adding lemon, peach, fresh herbs, and what really stands out is how the wheat and oat simultaneously provide a backbone for the beer, while also adhering seamlessly to the funk and wine. Smooth, medium bodied, slightly bready, and highly drinkable

L - just a dusting of offwhite head atop a near-transparent yellow body.
S - white wine, citrus, brett.
T - tart citrus, followed by tons of white wine, apple, bread dough, bretty funk, wood, sour lemon, with a hint of biscuit and decaying near-fermented vegetables. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. No booziness.
F - medium-light body with aggressive carb.
O - complex, and challenging to describe. Apart from the wine barrel (which is dominant), the other flavors keep me guessing on what I actually taste here. A delicious head-scratcher, this is.

Sweet white grape, balanced tartness, earthy Brett, apple pear, vinous, oak tannin, lemon, wheat, peach
I'll definitely buy more of this. Easy to down and curious to see how it holds up
