Love juice is loose, this variant, not so much. Let's start with taste, which came across with sandy, sugary, and hoppy dirty mop water with tangerine grapefruit and pine and booze. Feel was fluffy, creamy, and foamy yet coarse on the finish. Smell was much better than taste, with orange, vanilla, pineapple, pear and tons of sugar with slight hops. Has nice elements here and there, but not a do over

The pour on the beer produced a two finger dense, creamy, and billowy bright white head. The head dissipated at a moderate rate leaving a touch of lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is SRM 4 a pale gold color with amber hues. The hazy beer allows me to see carbonation bubble dancing within it murkiness. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a tulip glass.
The initial aroma of the beer is juicy oranges and floral. Next, I get toasted malt, crackers, biscuit, grapefruit, grass, mangos and pineapple. Lastly, I get a touch of herbal and resin. The beer smells like mosaic and citra hops.
I first get a malty sweetness and solvent phenols. Next, I taste pineapple, crackers, biscuit, grapefruit, mangos, pineapple, herbal, resin, dank basement, herbal, and oranges. Lastly, I get grass and earthiness.
The mouthfeel of the beer is creamy and astringent.
The body of the beer is medium, low carbonation, and a medium finish.
The aromas of the beer are phenomenal, but the taste is a huge letdown. The malt backbone is overbearing compared to the hop profile. The beer has this creaminess to it that I have never tried before in an IPA. The beer is closer to NEIPA characters. I was hoping the beer was going to blow my taste buds away, alas it came across as a five-year amateur dancer trying to win an adult ballroom competition.

16 oz can poured into ploughshare glass.
Head is huge, foamy, takes up most of the glass so I've gotta let this sit and recede for a bit. Body is a hazy honey gold.
I get fruity aromas of peach, orange creamsickle, melon, with slight lactose and herbal aromas.
Flavor is a little strange. Orange and tangerine creamsickles, slight vanilla, slight spice; but a weird funky/nutty flavor comes in with some diesel fuel and sweat sock. The finish is of Lifesavers hard candy, lemon-lime, and fusel alcohol.
Feel is creamy and huge, with some alcohol heat and mild resins.
Overall, it's pretty decent, but I'd like to find out what's going on the flavor profile that steers it off track.

Pours a hazy golden color. The head is 3 finger, frothy, white, and great retention. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is slightly hoppy. Grapefruit seems to be the main aroma on the nose to me.
Taste - Has some grapefruit tartness, mellowed out by the lactose which adds sweetness to it.
The body is full, and has a creamy feel to it. Minimal hop bitterness.
Delicious, and very interesting take on the IPA.

Appearance - Pours hazy burnt orange color with huge foamy white head with soft pour. Lots of spotty lacing.
Aroma - Picking up some floral hops, pine, light vanilla I assume from the lactose. Candied orange, bitter grapefruit.
Taste - Taste up front is bitter citrus peel and light malt, some pine. Candied orange and sweet vanilla come in toward the end. No sign of the alcohol.
Feel - Medium bodied, expected it to be over carbed from the head but it is fine. Slightly dry finish.
Overall - Well done IPA, no sign of the alcohol easy drinking the lactose really smooths everything out.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on October 9, 2018. A double India Pale Ale brewed with lactose sugar. Not a fan of this variant of Juice is Loose.

Released 9/21/18; drank 10/9/18 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a HUGE white head (careful pouring!); strong, frothy lace.
Orange citrus, peanut butter, mild cream & faint wheat notes on the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Peanut butter & orange citrus flavors up front; wheat & mild cream notes on the finish. No booze heat.
Something about Transient's hoppy beers is just "off" for me...I've had my last Moo Juice, that's for sure.
