22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Released November 2018, had 7/11/20.
Pours near black and opaque with only a brief flash of a head and no lacing. Aromas of bourbon, roasted malt, oak, char, chocolate, raisins, molasses, some vanilla and tobacco. Smells pretty awesome. Flavors of bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, oak, char, some tobacco, some molasses and cocoa. Tastes pretty awesome, too. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
Wish I had a few more bottles of this. Excellent barrels, well developed aromas and flavors. Outstanding.

Still an amazing stout, but I actually like the non-barrel aged n.n. this year. Bourbon, molasses, and wood, are all very well defined, vanilla, cocoa, and booze still come through strong. Booze and wood come through even more so in the smell. That being said, its drinks smooth, darker and more luxurious than the non ba stout.
