Pours an opaque white-orange with a couple fingers of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is deep tropical fruits, with notes of papaya, mango, melondew, orange and tangerine. Strawberry adds a little extra sweetness, without following in the path of the tropical fruits. Pleasant sweetness. Flavor profile is mango, melondew, papaya, orange, strawberry, and mandarin orange. Little off beat as far as tropical fruits, but it's very smooth and delightful. In fact, that nuanced novelty drives it up a level. Mouth feel is lightly creamy with a very fine pulp. It has a medium-thick consistency. Overall, hefty fruits in a delightful arrangement, creating a flavorful, spunky IPA.

Pours a hazy irange with fine, soft head.
Smell is fruity and grassy with notes of citrus and some pine. A slight medicinal hint as well.
Taste is fruity and a bit dank. Notes of grass, citrus and melon with a mild bitterness. Easy to drink and wel balanced.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very drinkable DIPA, well balanced.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on April 28, 2019. Aromas of cantaloupe, pineapple, white grape and dank hops. The flavors follow up with pineapple and melon. The whole thang is rounded up in a silky soft mouthfeel.

Really nice DDH DIPA, Transient has really impressed with the more recent offerings of this style (Permastank). Nice rich orange hazy appearance, nice head. Smells great, guava, melon, caramel, floral, malty, softly sweet, substantial mouthfeel, nice lingering soft bitterness. Really hides the alcohol at 8%. Great beer.
