Served in a sour glass
This beer pours a brilliant blood orange color. It is topped with less than an inch of tan head that leaves little lacing.
The smell is quite sour and fruity. I get an almost raspberry vinaigrette smell, in a good way. There is some funk as it warms.
The sourness delivers a slap right to the kisser. The black current is there while the sourness shines. The finish is dry and acidic.
Medium bodied with a dry mouthfeel
This is not a sour for beginners. This one has some complexity that my simple mind is trying to comprehend. I couldn't drink more than one, but this one is a very enjoyable experience.
