Roasted black with light brown cap. Get the caramel and honey right away in the smell, then the chocolate malt, nuttiness and fudge set in. Taste plays the opposite, starting with the chocolate, pistachio nuttiness, and sweet bread, then opens up with the bright honey and sweet caramel. Wouldn't call it baklava as it is so dependent on the texture to deliver, but I like this stout's flavoring. Nothing overly sweet, lets the nut star without getting too roasted either. Good balance in feel too, drink scary easy for 13% abv, decently chewy.
