Black with brown tinting and head. Nose is what the beer is going for: boozy chocolate with peanut butter cookie with a splash of roast and table sugared malt. Taste starts the same, chocolate with peanut butter wafer but has considerable booze burn and roast on the finish. Feel is roasty, malt, heavy, viscous and chewy. Take away that ending and this is a lovely dessert beer

I can't wait for the BA version to come out next week!!! It's a tasty treat and worth trying if you have a chance.

Bowser & Koopa is a chocolate and peanut butter stout from one of my favorite stout lords, Transient. The peanut butter is in the aroma and the main flavor is fruited chocolate. It is a sweet and velvety stout, very little carbonation. I picked this up at Open Bottle in IL.

This is the greatest grownup peanut butter cup ever. Pours black with a dense dark tan head, the nose is crammed with rich milk chocolate and peanut butter aromas. I am salivating.
The peanut butter is forward on the taste, but it’s the rich milk chocolate flavors that balance this big imperial stout.
The mouthfeel is also a star with a decadent, creamy mouthfeel commensurate with a 12.5% ABV beer. This is outstanding, IMHO.
